1. Click the link above and choose the middle option
   "services from other Internet Servers."
   Then click "OK" or the button next to your choice.
   
   
2. In "Map Server URL:" enter a link from above or one of these (be sure to include the "&"):
   • http://speedy.ersc.wisc.edu/cgi-bin/mapserv?map=/var/www/html/SSEC_test/latest_goes.map&
   • http://speedy.ersc.wisc.edu/cgi-bin/mapserv?map=/var/www/html/SSEC/current_warn.map&

3. Click "Ok"
4. Select data layers of choice.
   
   
5. Click "Add"
6. Turn the service and layers on and click "refresh map" in the interface.

It should look something like this:

ArcGIS 9.x (ArcCatalog/ArcMap) WMS Connections:

1. Open ArcCatalog
2. Double Click on "Add WMS Service"
3. Enter any of the following URLs:
   • http://speedy.ersc.wisc.edu/cgi-bin/mapserv?map=/var/www/html/SSEC_test/latest_goes.map&
   • http://speedy.ersc.wisc.edu/cgi-bin/mapserv?map=/var/www/html/SSEC/wi.map&
   • http://speedy.ersc.wisc.edu/cgi-bin/mapserv?map=/var/www/html/SSEC/modis.map& (works but re-projects from WTM to Lat/Lon)
4. Click "Get Layers" to preview metadata, then click "Ok"
5. The new connection will be added to your Catalog list. Double-click on it.
6. Expand the connection and select the mapservice
7. Click the "Preview" tab. It should look like this:
